Build Your Own Bargello
This range of kits is based on the centuries old tradition of Bargello stitching. Bargello designs use a combination of long stitches and repeat patterns to create geometric designs. You will choose your kit from scratch, choosing from four different colour palettes, five different patterns, two different shapes, and no end of finishing options. Follow the steps below to build your own kit, or at the bottom you can choose one from our bestsellers.
Step one | Choose your design
We have 20 different designs to choose from, each available as either a 40cm x 40cm square cushion or a 30cm x 65cm lumbar cushion.

Step two | Add your finishing materials
We have a range of finishing materials to perfectly compliment, or contrast, your cushions. Whilst we do offer tassel kits, I love to use the excess wool from the kit so the tassels perfectly tie in with the design. Therefore whilst we have listed tassels below, you definitely don't need these.

For customers in the UK we also offer a cushion making up service, starting from £75 if you use your own materials or alternatively you can select our finishing materials and we will also include the relevant cushion pad.

Stitching your bargello
How-to guide
This video shows you all the steps to stitch one of the Bargello cushions. We recommend everyone stitching a cushion watches the introduction, up to 7 min 40s, then there is a part for each of the specific designs. These are as follows: Flame (7m40s), Feathers (8m45s), Lanterns (10m8s), Weave (11m35s) and Florentine (13m).
