Finishing your cushion

In this section of the website, we stock all the materials you need to make up your cushion or stocking in the same style as we do. Work through each step to create your cushion making kit. For customers in the UK we do offer a making up service. Scroll below to find out more.

Step one | Choose your backing fabric

We stock a selection of velvet and wool to use as backing for your cushion. These are sold in pieces which are large enough to back all our cushion and stocking kits. Choose your favourite colour below.

Step two | Add some piping

We stock two styles of piping which we think both perfectly compliment all our kits. We sell these in pre-cut lengths of 2.5 meters, making them suitable for all shapes of our cushions and stockings. If you would like a bespoke length, then contact us by email.

Step three | Do you want to have tassels?

Tassels are wonderfully simple to make and we think a great addition to any cushion or stocking. Each tassel kit includes all the wool you need and instructions to make 4 tassels. Note: these are tassel making kit and it will take no more than one hour to make all tassels.

Cushion Making Up Service

About the service

For customers in the UK we also offer a cushion making up service, starting from £75 if you use your own materials or alternatively you can select our finishing materials and we will also include the relevant cushion pad.

However if you have a sewing machine, then this is a step you can do yourself a we have created a video to show you how below.

How to make up your cushion

This video guides you through how you can make up a cushion with your stitched canvas, using our tassels, backing fabric and piping. You do need a sewing machine for this guide, therefore if you are interested in having your cushion made up for you, get in touch by email. We work with a seamstress who makes up our cushion beautifully.
