The Not Now List
I was talking to artist Meg Fatherly back in the spring, and she mentioned how she keeps a Now and a Not-Now list. The idea is that rather than having to definitively choose whether to pursue an idea or not, you instead relegate certain ideas to a Not-Now list. You can still plan for them to happen at some point, but it helps you accept what is possible to achieve in the here and now.
Last week, I was faced with a decision about which of these two lists an idea I have should go on, and I wanted to tell you about it.
