I am experiencing very high demand at the moment therefore have had to temporarily increase the dispatch time to 5-7 working days for any new orders. Apologies about this - the kits are worth the wait!!

Chose the design of your The Fables frame

Our frames are hand painted to order on a 6-8 week lead time. We have worked with an wonderful Yorkshire art framer to produce these bespoke double layered frames. There are 6 different designs to choose from and the finished frame is coated in a matt wax therefore has a soft sheen but is not glossy.

An embroidery mounting kit will also be included, which includes the mount board, all the push pins and framing pins required and a guide on how to mount your embroidery. There is also a video in the how-to guides section of the website to show you this process.

The frame will fit The Fables or any other A4 piece of art. You could also add a mount and choose to put the musicians or the camels in here. Let me know if you are choosing to do this and I will make sure you have the right mounting kit.

The frames are not glazed as I believe this is the best way to present embroidery to appreciate all the detail and textures: none of the framed pieces in my home are glazed! The embroidery will be perfectly safe like this however, if you are choosing to hang the embroidery somewhere steamy (i.e. a bathroom), there will be space in the frame to add glazing. You will be able to get glass cut to size at any framers and I would highly recommend going with the museum quality glass if choosing to do this.

Note: The Fisherman frame design has been slightly improved from the design here to have a smoother finish than photographed here.
