Just So Stockings

These kits enable you to stitch a Christmas stocking to bring joy to any child for years to come. As with all The Fabled Thread kits, storytelling is at the heart of what we do. These kits are no different and depict the ridiculous and wonderful Just So stories by Rudyard Kipling.

Each stocking kit comes with a booklet which tells you the story behind your stocking, from the fantastical tale of the naughty crab to the greedy rhinoceros, these are stories to tell year after year.

Each kit includes a bespoke sewing bag, the design printed on the canvas, pre-cut lengths of wool, needles and detailed instructions.

Needlepoint is about as relaxing as embroidery as the whole design is stitched in one stitch onto a pre-printed canvas. Almost like colouring by numbers! With no complicated stitches to learn, this stitching gives you the opportunity to completely switch off and unwind, whilst creating a cushion to last a lifetime.

It can be overwhelming knowing where to begin when deciding how to finish your stocking, so we wanted to make this process simpler with a carefully curated range of finishing materials.
