Collapsing Ten Meters from the Finish Line: The Madness of a Relentless and Brilliant Year
I feel like I’ve been running a 10,000-meter race, on track for a personal best, only to overdo my pace and collapse just before the finish line. Picture my poor team all gathered around, dragging me—metaphorically, of course—toward the line. You get the idea: I’m burnt out.
Over the last two weeks, for the first time since starting this business, I’ve hit a wall. December, with all its usual chaos, has caught up with me. I’ve been going to bed at 9 pm, sleeping for ten solid hours, and still waking up feeling shattered. When I do make it to the studio, my energy feels only enough for mindless tasks—not exactly what my creative work demands.
