We are on a mission to empower creativity. All too few people doubt their own creative instincts, and we are here to show that creativity can be taught, can be fostered and can go on to change your life. No one is born with creative confidence, but with the right tools and support, we can all develop it.
So that is what The Studio is all about. This is our membership space for those who want to deepen their creative practice in a way that suits them. Whether you’re here to just do more stitching or you want to start exploring your own design ideas, we have different options to support wherever you are in your making journey.
Across our memberships, you’ll find a mix of inspiration, resources, behind-the-scenes insights, creative coaching, courses and access to exclusive products, from refill kits to creative challenges.
However you choose to take part, The Studio is here to support your creativity, at your own pace.
The Musicians
About the range
Our merry band of musicians are a joy to stitch. Each performer in our ensemble has a video guide accompanying it showing you all the key stitching stages. They are each quick to stitch, taking less than 10 hours and use three core embroidery stitches: satin stitch, chain stitch and french knots.
These kits are perfect as standalone pieces or displayed in a series. We also sell frames to accompany the designs, available both decoratively painted from our studio or as plain wood for you to decorate yourself. Watch out though, these little musicians are terribly addictive... you'll want to stitch them all!
Framing your embroidery
Our framing shop
We believe framing is absolutely integral to any piece of art. A frame can make or break a finished piece, so as much consideration should be given to the frame as the artwork in it. Our signature decorative frames are all hand-painted in our London studio and designed to perfectly complement our embroidery kits.
We are passionate about getting everyone making and feeling creative, so with that in mind, we also have a curated range of materials to enable you paint your own frames. Alongside our virtual decorative painting course, these materials are a really fun way to experiment and create pieces totally unique to you.
