Today's Challenge | Sketchbook Challenge #9
Here’s a 15-minute creative exercise to get you started. This sketchbook challenge is a little different from our others, and introduces you to drawing motifs. Motifs are a fantastic source of inspiration for borders or frame designs, but can also make for beautiful central shapes in your main embroidery.
We've created a whole library of motifs to help inspire you, and in this exercise we'll show you how you can go about creating your own motif designs. It's not about creating beautiful art or perfectly symmetrical patterns - just have fun and play with this sketchbook challenge.
