The Improvisations Cards Set
A$29.00Creativity isn't just an innate talent. It's something we can learn, practise and develop. Our Improvisation Cards & Dice are a completely new way to approach abstract art, encouraging you to think differently, relinquish control and discover compositions you might never have imagined.
The set includes 36 beautifully illustrated cards, each featuring a creative prompt on one side and an inspiring quote about creativity on the other, alongside a dice to guide your decisions.
By rolling the dice and following the prompts, you'll gradually build your own abstract compositions, allowing chance to make decisions you might otherwise never consider. It's a wonderfully freeing way to break out of familiar habits, overcome the fear of a blank canvas and experiment with colour, shape and arrangement.
Originally developed to accompany our Improvisations appliqué collection, these cards can be used with our fabric bundles to create your own textile artwork. But they're equally suited to painting, collage, drawing or almost any other form of abstract art.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking for a fresh perspective, these cards are an invitation to let go of the rules, embrace the unexpected and see where a little improvisation takes you.
