Better late than never

Every year, I promise myself that this summer will be different—that I’ll leave enough space in my calendar to start planning for Christmas. Yet, as always, I get caught up in other projects. Before I know it, September rolls around, and I’m nowhere near prepared. In the world of PR and eCommerce, that’s three months too late to start thinking about Christmas. This year was no exception. Though we managed to line up a few features for the coming months, I can’t help but wonder how much more we could have accomplished if I’d started just a little earlier.

That said, I'm trying not to be too hard on myself, especially considering the other projects I was juggling over the summer (which I wrote about rather extensively in this soul-bearing article—read it here if you want some background).
